Artwork Guidelines
These Artwork Guidelines outline the requirements for submitting artwork to ensure the best possible print results. By submitting your files, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General
At Oh My Print, we are committed to delivering high-quality printing on every order. All artwork submitted will be reviewed by our design team before production begins to ensure it meets our production standards.
2. Artwork Quality
High-resolution artwork is required for all printing processes. Our design team may make minor adjustments to ensure optimal print quality. Any changes will be reflected in a proof for customer approval prior to production. Additional artwork or editing fees may apply if significant adjustments are required.
3. File Compatibility
All submitted artwork must be PC-compatible.
If artwork is created on a Mac, customers are responsible for ensuring:
- All text is converted to curves or outlines
- Files are saved in a PC-compatible format
This helps prevent font or layout issues during production.
4. Accepted File Formats
Artwork files must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum resolution of 300 DPI or higher
- Accepted formats: .EPS, .AI, .PDF, .PNG
- Files that do not meet these requirements may result in reduced print quality.
5. Vector Artwork & Logo Conversion
Vector artwork is recommended for logos and text-based designs.
If a vector file is unavailable, customers may:
- Choose a printing method that does not require vector artwork (if applicable)
- Proceed without artwork (where suitable)
- Authorize Oh My Print to convert the file into vector format
Vector Conversion Fee: RM60.00 (prepaid)
Estimated Turnaround Time: 24 hours (may affect proof delivery)
Converted vector files can be provided upon request for future use.
6. Customer-Supplied Layouts
Customer-supplied designs are welcome. To ensure production accuracy, layouts may be adjusted to meet printing and machine setup requirements while maintaining the original design intent.
7. Color Matching
We aim to reproduce colors as accurately as possible; however, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed due to material, printing process, and screen display differences.
Digital proofs may not perfectly represent final printed colors.
If color accuracy is critical, customers are advised to:
- Request a physical product sample, or
- Order a First Article Sample (additional charges apply)
Approved sample costs may be credited toward the final order.
8. Fonts
Each printing method supports specific font types. If a required font is not commonly supported, customers should notify us in advance. Compatibility will be checked, and any limitations will be communicated accordingly.
9. Copyright & Usage Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted artwork complies with applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
By submitting artwork, customers confirm that they have the legal right to use all provided content. Oh My Print shall not be held liable for any claims arising from intellectual property infringement.
10. Proof Approval
Production will only begin after proof approval has been received.
Once a proof is approved, Oh My Print is not responsible for errors related to spelling, layout, color, or design that were present in the approved proof.
